Associate Alumnae of Douglass College Launches New Web Site

www.DouglassDifference.org

August, 24, 2006 (New Brunswick, New Jersey) - The Associate Alumnae of Douglass College (AADC) today launched a new Web site designed to engage, inform, and continue advocacy efforts for Douglass College, the all-women’s college at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. The launch of DouglassDifference.org (www.douglassdifference.org) follows the AADC’s successful Save Douglass College campaign.

As the University moves forward with its planned restructuring, DouglassDifference.org will inform and update alumnae and current students about this ongoing progress. In addition to updates, site visitors can learn about programs at Douglass College, upcoming events, and activities of the AADC.

“Douglass College continues to produce women who learn to lead,” said Sheila Kelly Hampton (Douglass College ‘70), president, AADC. “This, more than anything else, exemplifies what we call the ‘Douglass Difference.’”
The AADC is a major resource for Douglass College, her students and alumnae. Established by the Class of 1922, the college's first graduating class, the AADC today represents the interests of more than 35,000 graduates of Douglass College and the former New Jersey College for Women.
