SOMERSET COUNTY, NJ (December 8, 2004) – Residential real estate firm Prudential New Jersey Properties is sponsoring a show starring musical group The Duprees and Comedian Jackie Fontana.
The evening of entertainment, scheduled for Saturday, February 5 at 8 p.m. at Raritan Valley Community College’s theatre, will benefit The Sunshine Kids, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping children with cancer through positive group activities.
The Duprees are known for romantic interpretations of some of the most beautiful love songs ever written, including “My Own True Love,” the group’s second million-selling hit, which was the theme song of the 1939 motion picture “Gone With the Wind.” Their first national million-dollar seller was “You Belong To Me.”
Jackie Fontana, a musician, impressionist, singer, comedian and actor, has entertained at venues nationwide, including Carnegie Hall in New York City.
