Prudential New Jersey Properties Morristown Office Continues Mitten Tree & Toy Drive Tradition
MORRISTOWN, NJ (December 13, 2005) - In an effort to brighten the holidays for those less fortunate, Prudential New Jersey Properties’ Morristown office is continuing its tradition of decorating the Mitten Tree and hosting a Toy Drive.
“Each year our office decorates a tree with mittens, scarves, socks, and hats to offer hope and warmth to our fellow Morris County residents,” said Jim Cassidy, manager of the Morristown office. “Once again we invite the community to fill our mitten tree with donations of new, unwrapped items for women and children of all sizes. We’d also be thrilled to accept new toys and books for little ones.”
In previous years, the office collected hundreds of items that they gave to Morristown’s Battered Women’s Shelter. Items donated this year will again be routed to the shelter, which provides emergency shelter and support services to victims of domestic violence and their children.
Gifts may be dropped off at Prudential New Jersey Properties at 175 South Street, on the corner of James Street, in Morristown, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily through December 20. Convenient parking is available behind the building. Anyone unable to come to the office can call for free pick-up.
