Prudential New Jersey Properties Leaders: Top Agents Brian Jannone, Cathy Meringolo and Russell Williams
SOMERSET, NJ (February 14, 2003) – Prudential New Jersey Properties sales associates Brian Jannone, formerly of the Bedminster office and now working out of the Martinsville office, Catherine Meringolo of the Martinsville office, and Russell Williams of the Green Brook office all enjoyed tremendous success in 2002.
“We are very proud to have Brian, Cathy and Russell on our team,” says Nancy Litwin, co-president of Prudential New Jersey Properties. “They truly excel above and beyond our expectations for exceptional service.”
Brian Jannone: Teamwork and Technology
A broker/sales associate, Jannone initiated a team approach to his real estate business more than 10 years ago. Today, he and six licensed sales associates --- Jane Wynn, Lawrence Hess, Marie DeCicco, Gene Messina, George Schumann and Jody Berkowitz – along with a team coordinator Diane Nastri and a technology administrator Kevin Tenkel work in unison to provide detailed attention to every aspect of the real estate transaction.
Jannone realizes the importance of keeping up-to-date with the latest technology. He has hired interns to assist in the management of his Web site and client database.
“Remaining in constant contact with our clients is essential,” says Jannone. “We’ve invested in cutting-edge technology in order to best serve our customer base.”
One of the Prudential Real Estate Network’s annual top associates, Jannone was awarded Platinum Level membership in the 2002 NJAR Circle of Excellence. He is also a Prudential Chairman’s Circle member at the Platinum level, an achievement that only two percent of Prudential’s international network can claim. He achieved more than $30 million in sales last year. The Jannone team can be reached at (908) 719-9808.
Cathy Meringolo: Relationship-building
With more than $18 million in sales and listings in 2002, Meringolo has made significant strides the past three years. She credits this success to her client relationships. Nearly all of her sales and listings are from repeat customers or client referrals.
“Over the years, I have built relationships with my clients,” she says. “When they (or their friends and family) need real estate assistance, they call on me.”
Meringolo reached Gold level status in the NJAR Circle of Excellence for both 2001 and 2002 and she was named one of Prudential New Jersey Properties’ top 40 sales associates in 2001. She is also a member of the company’s 2001 Chairman’s Circle. For information on the current real estate market, contact her at (732) 469-1516 ext. 337.
Russell Williams: Sharing his knowledge
Williams and his team – full-time sales associate Krystyna Vignoli, part-time sales associate Stephanie Thyen and part-time, licensed assistants Mary LeStrange and Amy Williams – work together on all elements of the real estate process. The approach has been so successful that Williams now offers advice to other real estate agents in the company.
“These presentations give me the opportunity to meet with other agents and I truly enjoy sharing what I have learned with other members of the Prudential team,” says Williams, who reached more than $16 million in sales last year.
A member of the Gold Level of the NJAR Circle of Excellence for the past five years, Williams was named to the NJAR Distinguished Sales Club for achieving membership in the Circle of Excellence for the past ten years. He achieved the company’s 2001 Chairman’s Circle Gold award, placing him among the top three percent of nationwide sales associates. He also received Prudential New Jersey Properties’ 2001 Round Table award, naming him one of the company’s top 40 associates. He can be reached at (732) 968-6565 ext. 345.

Prudential NJ Properties’ Manalapan Office Collects Supplies for Children at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital
MANALAPAN, NJ (February 14, 2003) – Prudential New Jersey Properties’ Manalapan office is currently holding a collection to benefit the Institute for Children with Cancer and Blood Disorders at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.
The office is collecting new hats and bandannas, and new or used teen-age movies, Nintendo 64 games, CDs, crayons and craft items for children who are receiving treatment at the hospital.
“It’s great to see everyone pitch in to help gather items for these children,” said Cheryl Hand, manager of the Manalapan office. “The generosity of our sales associates and the local community is quite touching.”
In addition to Hand’s involvement, sales associates Sue Schneider, Penny Kornblum, Iris Helish and Rona Moskowitz (the office’s outgoing executive committee) have helped organize the collection, now in its second year. The incoming executive committee – Katherine Bradley-Knox, David Reich, Yana Futerman and Amy Goldner –
will complete the planning stage by implementing the collection.
Alice Greenblatt, another sales associate in the office, had tutored children at the Institute before she entered the real estate industry. After learning about the Institute from Greenblatt, the executive committee decided it was the perfect place to assist. This is the second time the Manalapan office has collected items for the Institute. Two years ago, they successfully collected hats and videos. This time, the items needed have broadened because the children are now tutored and do crafts in a class-like environment during their treatment and recovery.
To donate items, please visit the Manalapan office in the Towne Pointe Center at 359 Route 9 South – open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Or, call your favorite agent in the office at (732) 536-1200. Any of the sales associates will gladly pick-up donations from your home.
