Prudential New Jersey Properties collects more than 400 items for Jersey Cares’ 13th annual coat drive
Summit office thanks community for contributing to its volunteer efforts
SUMMIT, NJ (February 24, 2008) – Prudential New Jersey Properties’ Summit office has collected more than 400 winter items as a part of its contribution to Jersey Cares’ 13th annual coat drive, which collected cold weather apparel to assist at-risk individuals.
“Our success is due to the overwhelming support of our neighbors, fellow agents, and surrounding community,” says Kim Crites-Carloto, manager of the Summit office. “Our office thanks goes out to everyone, who contributed to the coat drive.”
The office coordinated its collection efforts with the North Central Jersey Association of REALTORS® in Short Hills and Columbia High School in Maplewood. Prudential New Jersey Properties brokers and associates brought the coats to Community FoodBank of New Jersey for distribution.
“The generosity of our community was especially impressive in this difficult economy and so important to those in need of warm clothing during this cold winter,” adds Susan Falk, an associate with the Summit office who spearheaded the coat drive.
The coat drive comes on the heels of a variety of ongoing projects that the Summit office taken part in within the community. Most recently, the office collected items for babies and toddlers for the ABC Area Baby Center. In addition, the Summit brokers and associates donated their time in early December to guide local residents through the Holiday House Tour to benefit Reeves-Reed Arboretum.
