UNION COUNTY, NJ (April 19, 2004) – Prudential New Jersey Properties today announced its 195 recipients of The Prudential Real Estate Affiliates, Inc. annual awards, including 26 winners from the company’s Union County offices. The award-winners were recognized during special ceremonies at the recent Prudential Real Estate’s Sales Convention held in Miami.
Recipients of the Chairman’s Circle Gold are ranked among the top five percent of Prudential Real Estate’s agents. President’s Circle award-winners are among the top seven percent of Prudential agents nationwide, while members of the Leading Edge Society are among the top eight percent of Prudential agents.

Short Hills Resident Seymour Wane Appointed to New Jersey’s Council on Local Mandates
MILLBURN, NJ (April 13, 2004) – Gov. James E. McGreevey has appointed Short Hills resident Seymour Wane to the state’s Council on Local Mandates.
One of nine members of the council, Wane, a sales associate for Prudential New Jersey Properties’ Millburn office, will serve for three years.
The Council was created pursuant to an Amendment to the New Jersey Constitution, approved by voters in November 1995, that directed the Legislature to create a Council on Local Mandates to resolve disputes regarding whether state laws or rules or regulations constitute unfunded mandates under the provisions of the Amendment.
Wane, who has lived in Short Hills for 40 years, is a member of the North / Central Jersey Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors as well as the Garden State Multiple Listing Service. He has received the Prudential E-Certification. Before entering the real estate industry, Wane, who is a licensed CPA, worked as a financial advisor. He has served as a trustee and treasurer of Congregation B’nai Jeshurun in Short Hills.
