Prudential New Jersey Properties Melissa Deputy Named Top 10 Finalist in National Good Neighbor Awards
FLEMINGTON, NJ (September 23, 2004) – Prudential New Jersey Properties Flemington Office Sales Associate Melissa Deputy has been named a national “10 Good Neighbor Awards” finalist for 2004.
The five-year-old awards program recognizes Realtors who strive to improve the quality of life in their communities and is sponsored by Realtor Magazine, a publication of the National Association of Realtors. Deputy was nominated for the national competition after winning second place in the state level of the New Jersey Association of Realtors' contest last year.
Deputy and her husband, who became foster parents four years ago, have nurtured 21 children of all ages, including emergency placements and newborns exposed to cocaine. Deputy has been president of Hunterdon County Foster and Adoptive Family Services, coordinated fund-raisers and training sessions, and continues to raise money for the Fostering Wishes program. With more than two years of real estate experience, this High Bridge resident is a member of Hunterdon / Somerset Association of Realtors, New Jersey Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors, and Garden State Multiple Listing Service.
